Swing Fever

From 4 to 9 remarkable players with music ranging from jump-jive to the big band sounds of Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Cole Porter and Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Irving Berlin, Benny Goodman and Nat King Cole. They play what they love and what they love is the classic, traditional swing, jazz and standards of the '30's and '40's. This clever, fun, romantic, rhythmic, exuberant, witty and always flexible dance band stopped keeping track of their song list after 1,000 tunes, and it keeps growing.

Swing Fever has been a band for 22 years. It has played four San Francisco Black and White Balls, Two Monterey Jazz Festivals, at least 30 other jazz festivals, and has produced three CD's. The band sometimes tours with famous jazz players such as Clark Terry, Buddy DeFranco, Terry Gibbs and Tommy Newsom, winning many rave reviews. Renowned in the music business for its reliability and all-around professionalism, Swing Fever has played hundreds of parties, corporate events and 1,100 weddings.
