A traditional 4 piece Irish group that plays jigs, reels, and sing traditional Irish ballads that appeal to groups of all ages.To hear their music is to be transported to the Irish countryside as the music evokes images of turf fires & thatched cottages by the sea.

From 3 to 5 pieces and at home in a living room, dance club or concert hall, the Aux Cajunals love to play the kind of old-fashioned acoustic Cajun music that's been popular at Cajun house parties in Southwest Louisiana ever since the early 1900's. Still danceable without drums or electric instruments and includes emotive French vocals.

Cajun Coyotes

The Cajun Coyotes have been playing traditional Louisiana dance music since 1991. Consisting of fiddle, accordion, guitar and the triangle (tee fer) or rubberboard (frattoir), this band has introduced hundreds of folks in Northern California to the great music of Southwestern Louisiana.

Latido

This amazing quartet plays traditional Cuban music in the style of the Buena Vista Social Club and is lead by the most in demand percussionist and vocalist in the Bay Area's Latin music scene.

Los Compas

S.F's most widely booked Latin band, this 3-10 piece orchestra specializes in pan-Latin dance music, including salsa, merenque, cumbria, danzon, mambo and bolero. Their live show transforms even the most inhibited two-left footer into a steamy Latin dancer.

Madrigal

This 4 piece band plays the romantic, festive music from South of the Border. As the only American born member, bandleader Carlos Molina believes being "pocho" is a benefit when guests have fond memories of a special song, but cannot recollect the name. His forte is in finding that song & utilizing both language translations

Mood Swing

Professionally formed in 1995 for the performance of swing, jazz mambo, samba and big band dance music of the 1930's and '40's. They were subsequently chosen as one of the best local swing bands in the March 1999 issue of San Francisco magazine.

Pan Roots Steel Band

Jeff Narrell leads the 3 to 4 piece authentic all steel pan and Afro-Caribbean percussion group. Portable, no electricity and can be roving if needed.

Parlando/Strictly Tango

Steel Jam

This 1 to 3 piece band features the playing of steel drums and draws its repertoire from styles that include Caribbean, calypso, reggae and soca, salsa, jazz, pop and classical music. In addition bass guitars, trumpets, strings and a veritable orchestra of instruments can be generated by the latest synthesizer and computer technology to give a full band sound.

Trio con Brio

Led by Davis Ramey, the Trio con Brio musicians are able to perform at the highest level in both the classical & jazz idioms with a repertoire that includes such diverse styles such as Brazilian, Italian, Show tunes, Tango, etc.

The Vipers

This 5 piece Blues Band derive much of their material from the Chicago Blues songbook, but also draw on other regional styles as well, such as Texas and New Orleans. Their level of virtuosity and their adherence to traditional styles while using a unique approach, is what makes this one of the most exciting new bands on the scene.
